This is the area around Oslo's main street, Karl Johan street, and the Akershus fortress overlooking the harbour and the great Oslo fjord. Our table was nice though.Sentrum, literally Centre, is the core of Oslo inside the first ring road, plus the area around the Royal Palace and Tjuvholmen island. We were still quite hungry when we left and had to rush and get some hot dogs from the outside kiosk before the show. The warm sake arrived at the end of the meal, we hardly had time to drink half of it. The waiter (who wasn't particularly good in Norwegian nor English) informed us they would have to bake the bread on each guest's request. When we ordered the food we requested some olives or bread, or just about anything while we had to wait for our meal, but that wasn't even possible. And it also looked like it was made in a hurry. When the food finally came, it was only 48, the pieces were small, some even tiny (like 1 cm sashimi shrimps counting as one.). We asked for a selection of their choice, at least 50–60 pieces (4 people). If that was all, it would have been tolerable. From reviews we already knew they are infamous for taking their time, and it took 45 minutes. We chose this restaurant for it's proximity to the Oslo Nye theatre. ![]()
